JavaScript Job: Senior Backend Developer (Node.js, Javascript)

For this role you will be primarily focusing on the SaaS side of the business to help us build our next generation data platform in AWS.

Please Note: This role is mostly remote for UK residents only as it could require an in-person team working day up-to twice a month. The final stage of the interview process will require a trial day.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining AWS based web applications
• Providing recommendations on best technological practices
• Assist in the design of web solution architecture
• Continual testing, development, and maintenance of technologies
• Write clean, maintainable code following the languages' standards

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of five years of commercial experience
• Javascript (NodeJS)
• Linux
• AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
• Test Driven Development
• Git source control
• Databases (relational & document based)
• Experience of integrating third-party libraries into Web Applications
• Understanding of web security of applications

Desirable Skills (but not required)

• VueJS
• PHP
